Harwood wins in Sri Lanka

European Senior Tour player Mike Harwood has continued the good early year form he showed in Australia with victory at the Sri Lankan Senior Masters last week.
Bruce Young reports on www.iseekgolf.com Harwood was a six shot victor in the 36 hole event, the first Senior event played in Sri Lanka.
Thailand’s Noppajak Meesom and Canadian Ahmed Bateman finished tied for second at the Victoria Golf & Country Resort Golf Course just outside of Kandy.
Harwood won the Bing Lee/Samsung NSW Legends Championship at Oatlands earlier this year and the Tasmanian Senior Open in January.
Several other Australians, including Terry Gale, also teed up in the Sri Lankan tournament which it is hoped will become a regular event.
